River & Rail weekend is set for October 1, 2 & 3 2021. Join us in beautiful Fort Madison, Iowa for a weekend of good friends, good food and great music! Come out and meet the Virtual Railfan team for this action packed weekend. We will be offering dinner both Friday and Saturday night as well as a live band. We will have vendors, events and tours during the weekend including a river cruise to get up and close to the swing bridge spanning the mighty Mississippi River. We hope you will join us for this amazing event. Early bird pricing is available and there is plenty of lodging space as well.

From Linger Longer, travel into the small town on Montrose, IA known for it’s annual Watermelon Festival held in August and it’s rich history with button making from river shells. Follow the winding Great River Road Scenic Road into Keokuk, IA.
